  • This Is One Of Our Favourite Phone And Network Combos For Busy Professionals

We hope you love the products we recommend! All of them were independently selected by our editors. Just so you know, HuffPost UK may collect a share of sales or other compensation from the links on this page if you decide to shop from them. Oh, and FYI – prices are accurate and items in stock as of time of publication.Does anyone else fear tech and internet issues more at this time of the year than at any other period? After all, especially if you’re using both to work, the tasks can get more and more crucial as the year closes. Which is why we’re such huge fans of Vodafone Business, especially when combined with long-lasting, seriously smart devices like the Google Pixel 9a. That’s partly because the phone, with its seamless Google Workspace integration, long battery life, fast charging, and 5G capability, seems designed for busy professionals. The Pixel 9a’s clear, smart camera, which allows you to capture notes, presentations, or creative content on the go (before sending it to your team in seconds), is endlessly useful, too.And with Vodafone Business, you can expect built-in security, automatic updates, a Lifetime Warranty, Battery Refresh, and Vodafone’s Lifetime Service Promise. That means the high-performance device will be empowered to keep working its business-friendly magic for as long as possible. But that’s not the only reason Vodafone Business is such a great network to pair with the stunning phone. Vodafone Business’s flexible plans include roaming deals from just £1 per day, keeping you connected wherever business takes you.And the network’s lightning-fast 5G on limited data or Unlimited Max plans means the phone can work to its full, fastest potential (perfect for people like me, who face loading fear this busy season). The end-to-end support in the My Vodafone app is a nice touch, too; it means one expert will handle your query from start to finish. Add Google’s AI features into the mix, and we reckon you’ll understand why we’re so excited by the Vodafone Business and Google Pixel 9a combo.Related...Vodafone Business' Black Friday SIM-Only Deals Could Save You HundredsThe Smart Watch Virgil Van Dijk And Niall Horan Love Is On SaleJo Malone-Inspired Scent A Strictly Star Uses Is BOGOF This Black Friday

  • Rachel Reeves Watches Awkwardly As Comments From A Year Ago Come Back To Haunt Her

Rachel Reeves awkwardly watches her interview from a year ago.Rachel Reeves was left squirming on Sky News as she was reminded of what she said last year about not having to put up taxes again. The chancellor had to awkwardly watch a re-run of comments she made during an interview with Trevor Phillips in the wake of her first Budget last October. She told him then that she had “wiped the slate clean” by putting up taxes by £40 billion to fill a £22 billion black hole left by the Tories. But in last week’s Budget, she hiked taxes once again by a total of £26 billion.Phillips told her: “Chancellor can we start where we left off last year. Let’s remind ourselves what you said to me 12 months ago.”Reeves was forced to look on as she was shown telling him: “We’ve now wiped the slate clean under the chaos and mismanagement of the previous government. It’s now on us.”She added: “We don’t need to come back for more. We’ve done that now. We’ve wiped the slate clean.“I’m not going to be able to write five years worth of Budgets on this show today, but ... there’s no need to come back with another Budget like this, we’ll never need to do that again.“We’ve now set the spending envelope for the remainder of this parliament, we don’t need to increase taxes further.”Returning to the studio, Phillips told the chancellor: “That wasn’t true, was it.” Phillips asked her.But Reeves said the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) financial watchdog had changed its forecasts this year, meaning the government will receive £16 billion less in tax than previously thought. She said: “The Budget this year was not on the scale of the one last year, but the context for this Budget did change and I did have to ask people to contribute more.”Related...Rachel Reeves Accused Of Misleading Voters Over State Of UK Economy Ahead Of Budget'Why Won't You Apologise?': Nick Robinson Clashes With Rachel Reeves Over Tax Rises On Working PeopleBBC Question Time Audience Deliver Damning Verdict On Rachel Reeves's Budget
